A Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Jonathan! With many years of experience in the fields of Information Technology (IT), Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Humanitarian Aid, I can offer unique, high-quality and authentic content writing. I've worked in IT for nearly 30 years (gulp!), growing into management and director-level roles. These businesses specialise in IT networking and infrastructure, telecoms & datacoms. I have worked with Managed Services Provider (MSP) businesses, helping to increase Cloud and Digital Service revenue in Strategic Director-level roles. English teaching has taken me around the world, teaching in classrooms, boardrooms and online. My experience as a humanitarian volunteer has given me a unique insight into this field and enables me to create real-world, insightful writing.

Humanitarian Volunteer

In 2005, I worked for a small NGO in Thailand, helping to distribute supplies on the Thailand / Myanmar border to communities impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Then, in 2015, I bought a Ford Transit 350 LWB van which was used to collect and drive humanitarian aid to Leros, Greece. Working alongside many other volunteer groups, independent volunteers and NGOs (UNHCR, MSF, BRF), I helped to create an effective storage and distribution system for clothes, shoes and medical supplies to people who arrived as refugees, often desperately needing physical, mental and medical assistance. The van was an essential part of this process. It was also a makeshift ambulance at times.
